1. Welcome
and
Introductions: Anna Liebenow welcomed everyone. Self-introductions
were made.
2.
Approval
of November 9th minutes:
previously sent. A motion was made by
Kristen Connors and
seconded by Jack Ringland to accept the minutes as amended.
Vote passed
unanimously.
3.
SUB-Committee
report on
graphics/simple language translation: Staff
has contacted Sue Babin as to the
status of the final draft graphic survey and will forward
draft to
sub-committee members upon receipt for comments and approval.
4.
Distribution
of survey
who, where, timeline: A
list was developed of members and their chosen organizations.
See attached.
Alicia Babcock will maintain the list.
5.
Survey
written
procedures: Draft
Survey Written
Procedures and Gift Card Drawing Procedures were distributed,
reviewed, and
approved with minor changes. See attached. It was decided
purchase only Target
GC. A draft outline for a PowerPoint Presentation was also
distributed and
discussed. Staff will incorporate the information and have a
draft PP
presentation ready for review at the January meeting. Kristen
Connors will
draft the Confidentiality Procedures with the assistance of an
attorney.
6.
Non-RISILC
committee / meeting
reports (GCD/RIPTA Public Forums, YLF, Cross Disability
Coalition, etc.):
Heidi Showstead reported that the Cross
Disability Coalition will not meet in December. The next
meeting will be on January
9th.
7.
Old
Business, new
business, announcements:
Anna Liebenow announced that Bill Inlow was retiring and would
be honored at
the ATAC luncheon. RIPTA plans on hiring an ATAC Liaison, but
Inlow’s position
as RIPTA’s ADA Coordinator is expected to remain vacant.
